Pencombe is a small, friendly, dynamic, child orientated school offering a fun learning environment for primary aged children.

We see our school as a family, where we work together to achieve the best we possibly can for each member of the school community. Learning at Pencombe is fun, exciting, challenging and rewarding and we welcome applications from practitioners who will share our vision for academic and social excellence.

We have a team of dedicated staff and are looking to appoint a dynamic and committed primary trained teacher with proven experience of outstanding classroom practice, to join us and teach in our small, rural school set in beautiful surroundings.

You will need to be a friendly, hard-working and enthusiastic individual, an inspirational practitioner and a supportive team player who is willing to share ideas and expertise across the school. 

The successful candidate will be able to engage, motivate and support pupils, staff and parents, with enthusiasm and sensitivity.

Pencombe CE Primary School is committed to the safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.  The successful candidate will be subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service enhanced check and further pre-employment checks will be conducted in accordance with KCSIE.  The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and the School is therefore permitted to ask job applicants to declare all convictions and cautions (including those which are “spent” unless they are “protected” under the DBS filtering rules) in order to assess their suitability to work with children.
