An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit a SEND Co-ordinator with experience of working with pupils with a range of additional needs and a good knowledge of the SEND agenda.
About this role:
• Are you highly passionate about education and supporting children with special educational needs and disabilities?
• Are you an experienced SENDCo, or aspiring to be a SENDCo with current teaching experience in the primary sector?
• Do you have excellent communication, organisation and interpersonal skills to further develop the role of SENDCo?
We are looking for an SENDCo to deliver outstanding SEND provision across our organisation.
• Developing and implementing policies and procedures for identifying and assessing special educational needs.
• Co-ordinating the provision of support for pupils with special educational needs and disabilities.
• Liaising closely with parents, outside agencies, and other professional to ensure that the needs of pupils with special educational needs and disabilities are met.
• Providing professional training and guidance to colleagues, working closely with school staff.
•An individual who either holds, or is willing to work towards, a SENDCo qualification.
