Job details

We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed teacher to work in our fantastic special school.

We aim to provide a broad, balanced, personalised and fully engaging curriculum which will enable each and every child to achieve their full potential through a wide range of learning opportunities. Our pupils are enthusiastic, love coming to school and an absolute joy to work with.

This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher to develop their own teaching skills and knowledge of SEND.

We are looking for:

  • A kind, calm and enthusiastic teacher who will lead a class team of teaching assistants
  • A teacher who is highly organised, flexible and committed to the progress of every child, regardless of their starting points or barriers to learning
  • A teacher who will make learning fun and engaging for all pupils

We can offer:

  • A supportive team used to working together
  • Excellent opportunities for continuing professional development
  • A friendly and stimulating environment in which to work

Does this sound like something that you might make a positive contribution to? A place where you will be able to enhance our teaching and learning offer and somewhere that you can grow as a teaching professional? Then we look forward to receiving your application.

Blackmarston School is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expects all staff and volunteers to share this commitment. Any appointment will be subject to all pre-employment checks and, where appropriate, satisfactory completion of your probation period.
