Thank you to all who work, sing and laugh at Hillside. Without your wonderful help I would have failed miserably. I must say your help has been invaluable - nothing was too much trouble. I will miss you all.
Hillside is a 22-bed residential home providing short-term care and rehabilitation to approximately 160 individuals each year.
As part of the discharge-to-assess pathway, we support people transitioning from hospital to home, offering a safe and supportive environment tailored to their recovery needs.
Our goal is to create a warm, welcoming setting where residents feel valued and cared for. We work closely with healthcare professionals and colleagues to deliver person-centred care that upholds dignity, compassion, and respect at every step of the journey.

Words cannot express how amazing you and your team are. During my Dad’s stay, you all displayed very high quality patient-centred care and demonstrated a great understanding of my Dad’s emotional and physical needs with unfailing empathy and kindness. The physical environment had a high standard of cleanliness and the food was excellent. It was lovely to regularly meet the chef who is clearly passionate about the service he offers.
I need to thank you and all the team for looking after me so well when I was at Hillside. You were all so very kind and friendly, and I miss you all, especially the banter. Unfortunately I’m still not allowed to drive, but as soon as I can I will be over to Hillside to see you all.
